Most of us have heard stories of sex-trafficking in other countries, but this multi-billion dollar business is here in the U.S. and growing in our own community. Why are we not more aware of the this? Law enforcement is just now starting to understand the magnitude of this problem. The internet and new technology hides this appalling crime against young people. Many runaways who disappeared with a “boyfriend” are now being confirmed or suspected to have been coerced into sex-trafficking.
